As a wave of cold weather settles over France, winter has already settled with quiet confidence over Val d’Isère. The first snowfalls have gently cloaked the village, softening every sound, and a serene, velvety hush whispers that the season is about to begin.

At Le Blizzard, our teams are joyfully finding their rhythm again: final preparations are taking shape, last details are being refined, and each corner slowly rekindles its glow, ready to welcome you back into its warm embrace.

The gradual opening of our restaurants marks the end of this delicate pause, suspended since summer’s last light:

– La Luge opens its doors on December 9th,
– The Blizzard restaurant and the Hotel will welcome you from December 11th,
– and La Mourra will join the celebration on December 11th.

Just a few more weeks of quiet effervescence, as we add the final touches… and then the season will begin — luminous, elegant, and shared with you.

As the first snowflakes gently dust our mountain peaks, we are eagerly preparing for another wonderful winter season.

After bidding farewell to summer at the end of August, Le Blizzard has, as always, taken advantage of the interseason to enhance your future stay. This winter, a brand-new Nordic bath will take its place on our terrace and is now joined by an Ice Bath — a true invitation to soothe muscle tension, boost circulation, and awaken your body for the adventures ahead.

We now await Thursday, December 11h, 2025 with great anticipation, marking the start of the new magical season in Val d’Isère.
