The Blizzard is a refuge filled with small attentions and wonderful Stories.
Started in 1963 by Robert and Nicole Cerboneschi, the Blizzard story continues thanks to their son Pierre, the current owner since 1988.
Although the impressive wooden and stone chalet from the beginning has been renovated and enlarged many times over the years, the atmosphere has always been joyful, optimistic, and relaxed.

Winter is settling in, the season is starting to come alive…
…less than a month before the season opens.
As the first snowflakes gently dust our mountain peaks, we are eagerly preparing for another wonderful winter season.
After bidding farewell to summer at the end of August, Le Blizzard has, as always, taken advantage of the interseason to enhance your future stay. This winter, a brand-new Nordic bath will take its place on our terrace and is now joined by an Ice Bath — a true invitation to soothe muscle tension, boost circulation, and awaken your body for the adventures ahead.
We now await Thursday, December 11h, 2025 with great anticipation, marking the start of the new magical season in Val d’Isère.

The Blizzard 5* had the immense pleasure of hosting an inspiring wedding during 4 days of festivities, under invigorating sunshine.
Between culinary workshops, creative cocktails, family barbecue, overflowing brunch, hiking, spirited backgammon…
The celebration was exceptionally beautiful for our newlyweds and their families.
We couldn’t be more grateful that they chose us and wish M & V, as well as their two little daughters, a lifetime of happiness.
